This year we are accepting donations for Clintonville Resource Center, (CRC), New Life Community Outreach, (NLCO), Near North Emergency Materials Assistance Program, (NNEMAP), and the YWCA’s Family Shelter.
Each ornament will list the needed item(s), and when to have them here for delivery. Please attach the ornament to the unwrapped gift(s) so that we can get them to the right people.
THANKS SO MUCH for your generosity! Have fun with this, and happy shopping!

This mission group responds both locally and across the country to aid in early response, recovery, and rebuilding efforts. While we welcome anyone who is willing to serve in mission, due to the nature of the outreach, volunteers must be 18 or older to participate. Some disaster response trips (ERT) requires prior certification; others provide onsite training.

Backpacks for Hunger is an outreach and mission opportunity in partnership with Indianola Informal K-8 School. Many students depend on school meals for the majority of their nutrition. They have limited access to food over the weekend. Our goal is to provide bags of food that can be placed discreetly into students’ backpacks each Friday. We are currently assisting 50 families weekly through this ministry. Below is a list of suggested food donations that can be dropped off in labeled bins outside the church office. Monetary donations to be used to purchase food are also welcome.
Volunteers are needed every Thursday at 3:00 PM to help fill bags with food. We also need volunteers to deliver the bags by noon on Friday at Indianola K-8 School. We ask that you include these families in your prayers.
Food donation suggestions: Plastic jars of peanut butter (16 oz.), mac and cheese, pop-top cans of spaghettios or ravioli, ramen noodles, cheese and peanut butter crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, oatmeal, shelf stable yogurt, fruit cups.
If you have any questions about this ministry opportunity, please contact Mariann Brush, (mbrush@north-broadway.org
Blessing Boxes are outdoor, publicly located cabinets that allow people to anonymously donate items to bless others in need. It’s an effort to reach out and connect to our community, and to include everyone! We are excited for this new ministry in sharing blessings with each other through not only food and hygiene items, but also with creating a prayer box and an information center to connect others to needed services.
The motto of a Blessing Box is, “Take what you need. Leave what you can. But above all, be blessed.”

A non-profit ministry located in the Short North Church at 25 W. 5th Ave, Columbus. The NLCO serves its clients in three areas: a health care clinic on Sunday morning, breakfast ministry on Sunday, and a clothing room ministry open on Sunday and Wednesday mornings. It takes a lot of volunteers to make this ministry a success, so email Rev. Wendy Hansen-Smith for more information about volunteering or making a donation.
YWCA Family Center dinners are held on the second Tuesday of each month except February. Each year, we serve approximately 3,000 people. North Broadway and Columbus Mennonite Church join together in this ministry effort thanks to wonderful, committed volunteers who provide service, funds, necessary food items, and prayers.
Get involved.
