June 8th-14th. We will be going to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont to do disaster repair work following severe flooding. The trip counts for 35-40hrs of volunteer hours for school requirements. Any time donated in serving with fundraisers or designated church events offers a $10 per hour credit towards work camp and / or the service retreat.
North Broadway's Youth gather each summer for a transformative work camp experience to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. All persons are welcomed to participate in our weeks of service regardless of religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity or other cultural/ethnic or economic location. Participants are invited to reflect on their service through practices rooted in Wesleyan Theology, appreciative inquiry and diversity, equity and inclusion. Youth who have completed 6th-12th grade are welcome to register.
In June 2024, NBC youth and adults traveled to Detroit, MI to work with Motown Mission, a work mission and service agency founded in 2005 through the United Methodist Church.

Grades 8-12
Begins in January-Arpil 2025
Confirmation is the first time a baptized Christian publicly "confirms" their intention to live the vows of the baptismal and membership covenant and so becomes a professing member of the local congregation and The United Methodist Church. Exploratory classes are offered to youth in 8th-12th grade prior to being confirmed.
