Chalking the door is a Christian tradition, usually done in celebration of Epiphany, where families write the year and specific chalk marks above their front door (e.g., 20 + C + M + B + 26) to invite God's blessing, protection, and presence into their home for the coming year, symbolizing Christ's blessing. The letters C M B stand for Christus Mansionem Benedicat ("May Christ bless this house").
If you would like to be a recipient of the Chalking of the Doors by our NB youth, please contact Pastor Kristen, klawson@north-broadway.org or sign up online.

North Broadway's Youth gather each summer for a transformative work camp experience to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. All persons are welcomed to participate in our weeks of service regardless of religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity or other cultural/ethnic or economic location. Participants are invited to reflect on their service through practices rooted in Wesleyan Theology, appreciative inquiry and diversity, equity and inclusion. Youth who have completed 6th-12th grade are welcome to register.
