Part of the Reconciling Ministry Network, this team supports, mobilizes, and elevates our LGBTQ individuals through various events and ministry efforts throughout the year. All are welcome, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
B.R.E.A.D. is a county-wide interfaith ministry that identifies and addresses local justice issues. There are a variety of levels of participation available ranging from attending the annual Nehemiah Action in May, which is a platform for generating commitment from local officials to work on specific solutions to specific justice issues, to organizing local listening sessions to learn about local justice issues, to serving on solution-focused committees that research national best practices. For more information, visit the B.R.E.A.D. website.
Volunteer as an “Outside Brother or Sister” to incarcerated persons at one of our area prison facilities, assist in funding prison ministry work, or begin working with programs to welcome recently released offenders (men and women) back into the community.
