They provide a safe and intimate space for us to pursue those pillars of faith and build relationships. You’re welcome to settle into one, or rotate in and out as wanted. Bible Studies & Discussion Groups

New Life Bible Study
A weekly Bible study using The New International Lesson series, join any time.
When: Sundays,  9:00 – 10:00  a.m.

S.L.I.C.E. of Life (Spiritual Living and Issues for Contemporary Exploration)
The S.L.I.C.E. of Life adult small group is a multi-generational community of individuals who share an interest in understanding and becoming fully human and spiritually aware by exploring the Contemporary to Ancient wisdom of the Christian tradition as well as that of other faith/spiritual practices. They seek ways to incorporate that wisdom and awareness into their daily lives and draw on it to inform their understanding of social issues.
Group members share responsibility for teaching the class and leading discussions. Drop ins are welcome!  (Email Shari for more information, sveleba29@gmail.com)
When: Sundays ONLINE from 11:00 am – 12 noon

Forum
Topical class with occasional guest speakers, book studies, and conversations. Drop-ins are welcome!
When: Sundays, 9:15 – 10:00 a.m.

Open Doors
This is a discussion-oriented class with strong class participation. They typically discuss the scripture reading for that Sunday’s message, as well as participating in church-wide book reviews/discussions. A group that cares for one another, shares devotion, and assembles care packages and cards to send to college students.  Meets monthly. 

Garden Ministry
Organizes, manages, and tends to all of the needs of the community garden, including sharing with North Broadway Children’s Center children.

Justice Ministries
Potluck fellowship, updates, and training related to our Reconciling Ministries, Immigration, and B.R.E.A.D. Justice Ministries. Rotates between North Broadway and Short North Church.

Peace of the Puzzle, A Ministry of Inclusion
Worship experience with music, Bible lesson and fellowship time which allows the group to grow in their faith and friendship with one another.

Prayer Shawl
This group meets to knit and crochet and bless prayer shawls that are then given to persons who are in the hospital or rehab, or have experienced a loss or a significant life transition.

Women’s fellowship group. Meets at Smith’s Deli in Clintonville.
When: 2nd Tuesday of each month, 11:30 a.m.

A social group for those nearing or in retirement. Meets at MCL Kingsdale in Upper Arlington.
When: Fourth Friday of each month, 6:30 p.m. and at Noon during the Winter Month’s

Circle of Light – CURRENTLY NOT MEETING DUE TO COVID
Women’s social group. Meets at MCL Kingsdale, Upper Arlington.
When: 2nd Monday of each month, 11:30 a.m.

Friendship Circles
These are small groups of singles, couples and families that share dinner each month at either a members home or a local restaurant of their choice. It is a great way to meet others who attend North Broadway.

United Methodist Men (UMM)
A diverse group of men of all ages who sponsor special events during the year and meet monthly for a morning prayer breakfast and first Friday evening fellowship. Contact Andy at achlaw@sbcglobal.net for more information.
