S.L.I.C.E. of Life (Spiritual Living and Issues for Contemporary Exploration)
A multi-generational community of individuals who share an interest in understanding and becoming fully human and spiritually aware by exploring the Contemporary to Ancient wisdom of the Christian tradition as well as that of other faith/spiritual practices. They seek ways to incorporate that wisdom and awareness into their daily lives and draw on it to inform their understanding of social issues.

When: Sundays ONLINE from 11:00 AM – 12 noon
This is a discussion-oriented class with strong class participation. They typically discuss the scripture reading for that Sunday’s message, as well as participating in church-wide book reviews/discussions. GROUPS CENTERING ON A MINISTRY AREA

A group that cares for one another, shares devotion, and assembles care packages and cards to send to college students. Meets monthly.
Organizes, manages, and tends to all of the needs of the community garden, including sharing with North Broadway Children’s Center children.
Potluck fellowship, updates, and training related to our Reconciling Ministries, Immigration, and B.R.E.A.D. Justice Ministries. Rotates between North Broadway and Short North Church.
Peace of the Puzzle, A Ministry of Inclusion
Worship experience with music, Bible lesson and fellowship time which allows the group to grow in their faith and friendship with one another.
This group meets to knit and crochet and bless prayer shawls that are then given to persons who are in the hospital or rehab, or have experienced a loss or a significant life transition.=
