The book of Isaiah reminds us that every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill made low. Indeed, Advent arrives in anticipation of the arrival of the Prince of Peace.
Our children will welcome in the season with a new Introit, “Rejoice, Rejoice”, on December at 11 a.m. worship, and choirs will share music familiar and music new throughout the following weeks leading to Christmas Eve on December 24.

A service intended for those experiencing loss, grief, or for those having difficulty finding joy in the Christmas season for whatever reason. This quiet service includes lighting candles in memory of departed ones dear to us. Jayne Allison and Sybil Baker will provide special music for this service.

Christmas Eve Services, Sunday, December 24
Family Service, 4:00 p.m.: This service is especially appropriate for families with young children. Music will be provided by our Children’s Choir, directed by Leslie Ritter and the Contemporary Choir, directed by Lisa Miller.
the Source [Candlelight Worship], 6:00 p.m.: A modern worship experience with music provided by Andy Clingman and the Source [Collective].
Candlelight Service, 8:00 p.m.: Enjoy music by the North Broadway Bells, the Chancel Choir, Courtney Bertsch (flute), and organist Jason Mace.
Candlelight Service, 10:00 p.m.: The Youth Choir will sing, along with performances by soloists Gail Nelson, Melanie Richards, Jackson Richards-Jarvis, Josh Richards-Jarvis, and Maggie Szabo.

Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center Breakfasts
Every Sunday morning in December, NBUMC will provide a hot breakfast for those in our community.
Volunteers are needed to provide food, to serve breakfasts, and to offer hospitality.
